Whether these limiting self beliefs are yours or your employees, they’re the way you choose to perceive your reality – Very different from being your actual, fixed reality.
Firstly, it’s important to know how to overcome these thoughts, but as a leader, you’ll also need to know how to help your team overcome these beliefs.


These limiting self beliefs are stopping you/your employee from growing and performing at your best.


A great way to overcome them is to write them all down, see if there’s a common theme that ties them all together, and if you can determine what instilled these beliefs in the first place.


The quickest and most effective way to take back control is to rewrite the story you’re telling yourself. What new belief do you want to believe? Yes, you get to decide! These are YOUR thoughts.


Once you’ve decided which thoughts you want to replace your limiting self beliefs with, remind yourself of those every single day. Find a mentor or a role model who already adopts the mindset you want to harness, and receive their guidance and support to overcome those limiting self beliefs.
